The Main Lodge has an understated elegance and is a welcoming haven. The rich warm floors and antique country furniture are complemented by woven wool fabrics and carpets designed to reflect the richness of Huka Lodge's surroundings. The intense deep greens and blues echo the forests and river, and the touches of red mirror southern sunsets.

The Lodge Room is used by guests frequently during the day and in the evening guests are drawn in front of the blazing log fire, comfortable seating and its rich warm ambience. Here they gather with a drink or two and share stories of the day.

A beautifully appointed room the Lodge Room has wonderful panoramic views of the Waikato River and towards the Huka Falls.

Outside, the terraces provide quiet spots to sit in the sun and relax during the day. It is always tempting to slip away to the Library with a book - this room can also be used for private dining in the evening.
